This Workshop has been organized coinciding with the upcoming retirement of a great teacher and scientist from the University of Malaga, Prof. Enrique Rodríguez Castellón.
El Prof. Rodríguez Castellón He is recognized nationally and internationally as an expert in the field of nanomaterials and their application in adsorption and heterogeneous catalysis. In addition, it is an international benchmark in the study of the surface of nanomaterials using the X-ray Photoelectronic Spectroscopy (XPS) technique, placing the XPS service of the SCAI-UMA among the most recognized both in Spain and in Europe.
This Workshop aims to bring together great experts in these areas who, in addition, have been collaborators and friends of Enrique during his long scientific career, to discuss and present the main advances in the use of nanomaterials for environmental applications, particularly in the adsorption of pollutants and catalytic processes that can help mitigate environmental impact. fields in which Prof. Rodríguez Castellón.
