Offered Employment contract funded by the project "Production of biofuels from waste oils and fats by advanced catalytic processes (WOFTOFUEL)", from the call for R+D+i Projects 2020 Research Challenges.
The Tasks to be carried out They will be related to the production of aviation biofuels by catalytic hydroprocessing of used vegetable oils and animal fats. The person hired will be responsible for the synthesis and characterization of catalysts supported by carbon nanomaterials, their evaluation in the process using different catalytic reactors as well as the characterization of the biofuels obtained through different analytical techniques.
Possibility of completing the Doctoral Thesis after the end of the contract.
The work will be carried out in Institute of Carbochemistry-CSIC (www.icb.csic.es), located in Zaragoza.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Materials. Related qualifications and qualifications related to the subject matter will be considered.
Previous experience in:
Design and operation of catalytic pressure reactors.
Synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts.
Characterization of biofuels.
Good level of English (oral and written).
Offered:
Employment contract of 12 months duration.
Full-time (37.5 h/week).
