Information
We are looking for a candidate to carry out the Doctoral Thesis within the Doctoral Program in Materials Science of the University of Alicante (UA).
The duration of the contract will be three years.
The salary will be as stipulated by the University of Alicante. More information on the UA website, in the Payroll and Social Action section.
Start immediately. The official call for the position is expected to be published during the month of June.
Theme
The candidate will work within the scope of a European Project of the H2020 Framework Programme: Fuels from electricity: de novo metabolic conversion of electrochemically produced formate into hydrocarbons (eForFuel).
The topic of work will focus on the synthesis and characterization of functional carbons for catalytic applications.
Candidate Requirements
Have a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's degree, in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar, obtained in the last 3 years.
Previous experience in research, laboratory and languages, especially English, is an asset.
