Within the Call for the Programme of Activities for the Promotion of Catalysis promoted by the Spanish Society of Catalysis, the following questions have been resolved: THESIS AWARDS 2011 and 2012 falling, respectively, on:
Dr. D. Vicente Jiménez Cotillas of the University of Castilla La Mancha for the Thesis entitled Synthesis, chemical activation and applications of carbon nanostructures.
Dr. D. Beñat Pereda Ayo of the University of the Basque Country for the thesis entitled NOx Storage and Reduction (NSR) for Diesel Engine: Synthesis of Pt-Ba/Al Monolithic Catalyst2Or3, reaction mechanisms and optimal process control.
For this reason, they will intervene with a Key Note at the Biennial Meeting of the Spanish Society of Catalysis to be held next June in Seville (SECAT'13) and we convey our congratulations for the award.
